Suddenly have the image of him going to market being made to carry items and gets stuck looking at something shiny while his owner walks on ahead, and he doesn't notice until his collar starts to burn and he can't find said owner in the throng of people so he starts to panic and tries to use the intensity of the burn to find where his owner's at, only to fall and spill what he was carrying when turning a corner, and everyone stops to stare at him and the mess he made. Then the owner comes back and all the boy can do is cry because the burning stopped and he's so glad he's not in pain anymore, and the owner is just chiding him for dropping the items but stops mid sentence as they notice the marks on his neck.
