Uhh I can't get over that design

I mean you drew it well but I prefer the old one so much more you know?

To be honest, I've always liked the Skylanders design. It's just a different way to look like a dragon.

I will say it's almost my least favorite, but my opinion on it is generally positive. It kinda goes...

1. Dawn of the Dragon Spyro (for being a handsome teenager)
2. Original Spyro (for being the awesome classic we know and love)
3. Pre-Dawn Legend Spyro (If Skylander!Spyro looks like a pug, he looks like a Chihuahua.)
4. Skylanders Spyro (Traditionally ugly elements tend to look good on dragons, and Skylanders!Spyro is far from the ugliest dragon I've enjoyed aesthetically.)
5. Hero's Tail Spyro (It's kinda like the worst of all words, but still not bad enough for me to hate)

...Personally, I don't get the hate Skylanders Spyro gets. He's Spyro. He's a dragon. Dragons are supposed to be ugly-cute instead of cute-cute anyways (not that there's anything wrong with cute-cute dragons.) I can understand disliking Skylanders because of its gameplay, but the hate that Spyro himself get drives me up the wall.
