Another short, old piece. It's a bit ham-handed for my tastes today, but its brevity keeps it from being overwhelming, I think. And I know some people liked it, since I was asked permission to allow it to be published in a school paper newsletter for a ham radio club (it makes sense if you read the story).
This is a re-upload. The older entry here on FA was corrupted somehow, and the site doesn't seem to allow you to upload new files. I'm told it's a bug, but it's lasted a while. Rather than wait for it to get fixed, I'm just making a new entry.
