So after many years of tracking down these figures I own all but 1 elite, this is the camo elite. I don't find this figure a priority to add to my collection so I didn't bother. And before you ask, I do have the GameStop elite, hes in box and not included in this pic. Quite proud for collecting all the major set elites. I used an official list to go through each elite.
SO from left to right:

In my opinion, the best place to start is here with the Reach collection. BUT you could start with the Halo 3 Elites as its the largest sangheili count @ 17 (including the UK exclusive gold elite) where the Reach Elites are at 14. Ive got 8 of the elites for H3 so far, just some are incomplete, so the chase starts for them now x3.
Yea, sadly the new series elites are lacking in quantity. With 3 elites from h4 and just 2 (so far) from Halo 5. Though the Ghost elite is neat he's $29.99 and the Zealot elite is $20 for the h5 set. These two are on amazon and u might find them at walmart and bestbuy.
The purple one is around $20 bucks on ebay, he doesnt seem to be super popular but damn the color is amazing on him.
Six is where I was at for a good year or so, then I decided to fully invest and track down the rest. I did acquire the invisible elite and another blue gamestop elite so the shelf was complete.
