Top Board:
Is a Sector 9 Cosmic seriers, not sure what model as i bought it off some kid for $20! Once i had my paws on it i put new Redz bearings and new wheels on it. Wedged the trucks for a pumping set up and finally painted it black and had my bro paint his lotus design on the bottom. Its a good board, not good for down hill and its ok for garages, it really shines as a commutor, getting around town. I will how ever be getting it reverse trucks in the near future as that style truck is better suited for Long Distance Pumping.
Bottome Board:
Is a TRICKED out Rayne Hell Cat! Cut through truck mounts for a lower/more stable ride. Custom bushing set up for a nice smooth feel and a nice back to center, full contact 70's Flashback wheels at 84a and last but not least whats called a "pleasure dome" the center of the board is raised a little so the rider can find his place better and for added comfort while you ride! I LOVE THIS BOARD!
I do believe i'll be puting paw prints on both of these boards, right were my feet normaly would be!

Cool boards and what a bargian on the sector 9. Good to see people who know there boards and don't run stock set ups. (stock sec9s suck) I'm a connoisseur of the small NZ longboard scene who makes his own boards (only shity ones on my page atm). What type of skating do you do prodamanatly?
lol the guys at MotionBoards got a kick out of me when they asked me that question!
Im currently attempting to learn LDP(Long Distance Pumping) and thats what the Sector9 is gonna be set up for.
While the Rayne is my hill bomber/garage beast
When i bought that Sector9 is was 100% stock, used and abused! The wheels looked so fawking old, i was almost afraid to skate with 'em! I think later this week imma get some more washers and wedge my trucks forward and backward(respectfully) some more!

I got a laugh too, not really an acknowledged riding style in NZ but after a few months you will have abbs of steel.
I don't know about a sec9 as a pumping board but then again I have never particualy liked them.
Would have had the nine ball wheels when you got it right? I get these wheel practicaly given to me by a friend who imports boards cause he refuses to sell his decks with such shit gear.
Also on the subject of wheels if your thinking about getting some more watch out for the orangatangs (second hand ones mainly) there has just been a big recall of a large bunch of last years "in heats" due to substandard cores(they shread and explode). i know this at an intimate level lol.
Wedges are great i love mine they change the feel of a board so much.
p.s. what kind of speed are you reaching bombing, I'd expect that rayne would be wicked. i cant even afford a board of that caliber.

I've heard a lot of good and bad about the orangatangs, I tend to stay away from things with 50/50 rating from users, so no worries there! lol
Yeah, the sec9 did come with OLD, USESED AND ABUSED 9balls! As for the pumping on the sec9, i have yet to get any real help with it! Im still having trouble getting it down and i have yet to meet another longboarder in THIS town, plenty in Seattle, but thats a drive i'll save for garage sessions.
Speed on that Rayne....FAWKING SICK! I just got home from boarding North Everett and i found a fairly decent road that proved to have some sick speed on it, i wasn't sure were a curve was going to take me so i had to do a "G" slide into someones drive way to stop before i shot out into unknown territory. Right now im kinda fiddleing with the trucks....currently i've set it up with a looser back truck for some more slide and more of a surfer feel, later i'll do the opposite, looser front truck for a more car like feel in my turns minus the slide.
