The ears are awfully big for a lemur, aren't they? And its hard to tell from this angle but it looks kinda weasel-ish. But eager to see how this turns out. What kind of lemur? I'm partial to Sifakas, myself. ;)

Its all in the first stage really. Everything you see tacked to the head is really for me to get perspective more than anything. As for the ears they are going to trimmed a tad, Ringtails have a very vulpine muzzle, and almost yena looking ears... He still has a long way to go... ugh..... lol

its to get the pattern for the fur, you draw on it, then cut off the patterns to be layed and drown onto the back of the fur.

Most of the pros do it this way, it's fairly common practice.

Lol well I guess I should pay more attention to wips and stuff, I was trying to use advice from some people and tanidareal's tutorial. As soon as my hand heals I'm going to start work on mine. Wish me luck on not epic failing XD

My advice is to rush your first one, just to get it out of the way and get a feel for working in a 3d medium. I wouldn't use mesh in anyway. I wouldn't ues a tutorial that is more than 3 years old. Don't let it turn into a money pit, use crappy fur, and small amounts of foam. I also would just make a simple dog, or soemthing like that, just so you are not representing your personal character with a something yu are not 100% happy with.

And just have fun with it.

Most first suits turn out fairly bad, it's more important to learn the basics of fabrication, more so than come out with an amazing product. Then on the second suit take your time and do your best.

Well I just want something for AC and I have made mask in the past, but I'm not following all the instructions there was no way I was going to spend 30 40 bucks per yard on something I might mess up on. I do have help though its just getting started that seems to be intimidating to me XD. Either way I'll most likely remake the participial later down the road, but I rather try my lemur then just do a dog, because I think I will be happier as my own fursona that's crappy then just a random dog that's crappy. XD and who says it will be completely crappy? My friend made her first one and it was no 1000 dollar head but it wasn't a ......were you drunk when you made that? Anyways we will see come AC XD
