In lieu of posting more sketch work, I thought some people here might appreciate the modeling world side of my creativity of late.
I haven't had much opportunity to play the game for real yet, so I have no idea how useful they are, but I got another set of Tau stealth suits over the holidays, and finally finished painting my old suits. Reflecting just how old they are, in that they're using 25mm bases, instead of the new standard 35mm bases. From what I understand, burst cannons are like miniguns, and fusion cannons are just no fun at all, so Im betting a pack of 6 of them would prove quite deadly.
The paint scheme of Snowpaw battalion is white armor plating, black cloth, and gray splotch camo patterning over the entire model. Since these are stealth suits with active camouflage, I made them up like they are partially cloaked against their surroundings (some to more degree than others). The leader of the pack (second from the left) shows my enjoyment with having too many antenna's for my troops... someone's gonna get rabbit ears. XD
Hopefully the temperature will improve soon so I can prime the rest and paint them up to match soon. Hope people are not going to mind seeing more models in the future. ^^
