For a guy that loves mermaids I have a serious lack of characters to pull from. So here is Sidney, or Sid for short.
He's a very strong-headed merman who is easily annoyed, especially by the land-dwellers that see merfolk as the new fad to jump onto. Sid has had quite the troubled relations with them since his good looks and long lithe tail just helps attract the more obsessed people!
Sid is an old friend to Kaleo and considers him his closest since he knows he's not the easiest to initially get along with. He also does not like the idea of his best friend spending extended amounts of time out of the water with a felitaur, partly because of his mistrust of Ezri's intentions and partly because of his own feelings for Kaleo. He will learn to accept their relationship in time, but for now he will be very grumpy~

I'm still toying around with ideas for Sidney's occupation and wanna flesh him out a bit more. But I also definitely wanna put him in a relationship with another new mer. He needs some love!
