I wonder if maybe Eternal let himself get caught, or maybe didn't put up quite as much resistance as he could have done? In any case unless he's distracted by a rather unpleasant sensation of dampness, I suspect he might announce that he knows the whereabouts of Sneer but he's not telling and that there's no way that say the lynx superheroine or the lady cat police officer could make him talk...
Silly or not, I love it! The scenario you drew up is actually perfect for her character! She's still very new to the world of crime fighting and she's bound to make a few mistakes here and there. There's no reason to say otherwise. You've pretty much nailed it!
