If you go far back in my gallery, you'll see I used to draw a lot of weird stuff - thus the "surreal" portion of my screen name. So I still like to draw something weird every once in a while.
This is a superhero, but he's not my typical hot anthro superhero. He's more of an absurd satire of the genre. This is HorseLeg, a human who has the power of - having one horse leg.
Okay, so there's a bit of a story behind this. A friend of ours visited for New Year's Eve, and as we were sitting around playing cards, he described this superhero his brother had offhandedly come up with. (He doubts his brother even remembers saying this). So for the rest of the night, we kept riffing on all the advantages and difficulties such a hero would face - i.e., he can run really fast, but only in an arc - his possible origins, how he would keep his identity a secret, etc. This is probably a "you had to be there"-type thing, but it kept us amused. Anyway, I told him I'd draw the character. One of the things he most wanted was for HorseLeg to have an epic logo.
