While I was streaming Sunday night in preparation for ANE, my niece, Kassandra, came in to watch for a bit. After I'd finished up another piece, she asked me if I'd be willing to draw a phoenix for her. No specific reason. She just likes phoenixes. ;)

The original sketch took about 30 minutes. The inks, which I finished up on Monday night, took another 6 hours or so.

Considering this is my first phoenix, I like to think I did a pretty good job! ;)

Color shall eventually find its way to this thing.
