nice and funny.
a snippet of a story comes to my mind. like, her friend shrinked her to thumbling size and put her ontop of the dinner table, and while he was away for a second she aimed to salt his soup a little bit up... or a bit more. unfortunately the salter was heavy and filled good.
this is because she seems to look to the side, with a serious and determined expression. :) and my, that salter really looks big. :)

Heh, nice to hear these interpretations of a scene, I like making people think what could be happening right there, or in the near future. Hearing how good the drawing looks is... nice, but it's not that important. Not that I really mind hearing that, by all means, but it just doesn't mean all that much anymore :)
Yeah, with a salter as big as yourself, you're going to have some trouble lifting it ^^
ps. I noticed she looks to be looking to the side, as you said, though I did mean for her to just look burdened by the saltshaker... happy accident I guess XD

in times they pick up a life of their own while being drawn. ^^
on some occasions a picture triggers some story in my mind, if time and mood is right I feel like sharing... good to hear you don't mind, too.
amiralaesir seems to have a hand in pulling that trigger every now and then. seems like my limited vocabulary of english is still good enough to bring those little stories and thoughts to life, since he usually uses them in the repsective pieces' description, even over at DA. :)
but hey, I know what you mean. it's good to see that one's art inspires the viewers into adding their own imagination to it, or give their immediate thoughts on it. far better than a plain praise, it shows they dive into the picture rather than looking at it.

Actually, more often than not I pick a random thing and go with it, so I guess that's true :)
Hmm, maybe I should start adding them too... ^^
Yeah... getting plain praise is as simple as walking up to a person on the streets, showing them a picture and getting the usual "Yeah, nice drawing, bye"... Finding a person who actually analyses the drawing is much more satisfying for the person who drew, as I generally see whole new aspects of the drawing that I didn't even think of before. Of course, sometimes there isn't very much to analyse... a nude is a nude even in a different pose, though the transmitted message may vary.
Anyway, it's always a joy reading your comments, I really appreciate the time you put to digging into my drawings, simple as they may be :)

I do what I can. I believe in commenting with something useful or interesting or not comment at all. I try to reason what and why I like something. ^^
and I enjoy the discussions that ensue usually after it. have you noticed that barely a reply gets by without a counter-reply? ^^

hm, I ain't got IM or any other messenger, but am sometimes active on IRC. but then again, some people dislike IRC...
until then I don't mind exchangning notes here in the open. someone else might have additional ideas or get isnpiration from it. :)

Okay. Now this, this is awesome.
Mostly because it's new XD More background than most of the time, different perspective, slightly different style... You should do things like that ( well not exactly like that, but You know what I mean ;) ) more often :)
But I guess You will once You're in that art school ;)
