"You expected Kai and Alder, but it was me, Diego!"

Diego the Incineroar was Kai and Alder's rival-turned-partner, charismatic and sly where the other two are far more blunt and straightforward. Though his flames and fists have come in handy multiple times, his love of fighting and pride land him in more trouble.

The paladin and samurai are luckily there to save him and for that he is thankful, even if he won't admit it to their faces. At one point he ended up in a weird love triangle with them but now they have settled into a loving (if occasionally aggravating) polyamorous triad.
