The carrier out of my GM 10 bolt after it scattered. Upon tearing it down we found the carrier pin screw had sheared which let the pin slide and rotate out of place which dropped the spider gears into the ring and pinion...Amazingly it didn't lock up and went into a neutral free-spin.
