No, I found him scuttling around some loose bark on a path in the woods, and I already had several small terrariums that weren't being used at the time. They're called worm snakes because they are very much like worms and they eat worms, so usually they're underground. Finding small enough worms for him to eat was a bit of a hassle though, and the loose dirt-like coconut fiber substrate he needs has to be kept damp and changed regularly due to mold. But he's so sweet :)
