I confess I love the look of Super Saiyan Rose as well!! I actually kind of like it more than the Super Saiyan Blue look, by a lot! And it looks beautiful! lol I myself have recently been getting back into Dragon Ball and even started revamping my old OC Tyne http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22311719/
Same here! I think it's a neat looking form and it'd be a shame for it to be done forever. I kinda take inspiration from it when my character powers up but it's not the same as my character isn't that strong nor is he a Saiyan.
And thank you! I haven't drawn in anime in years! I'm not sure if that counts or if the style is wrong but I'm kinda digging his look!

Also stick figures are a great way to measure proportions and make sure you have everything right ^w^ Great advice Kit!! AND I still owe you that one pic I had the idea for awhile ago! I'll get to that when I finish up some of the drawings on my plate. I'm sure you'll love it!
Oh my god thank you so much for the watch!! I'm flattered!! Deeply and truly I am! It's an honor to know someone as sweet as you want's to keep up with the scribblings of a guy like me! Thank you so much! And I've improved a little bit since my drawing of you with the cherry blossoms! So hopefully you'll really enjoy this one!
Again you flatter me ^w^' Seriously, I appreciate this a lot! You've been so nice to me this whole time with the comments on the pic I did, the giftart you did for me (>.> Which I still need to reupload), and now this!
And before I get too far off topic from your lovely picture, is this an OC of yours for the show or a character cross over?

Oh goodness, the picture I did for you is so old! XD
But I'm still really glad that you like it!
And this is an OC of mine for the show!
This outfit she is wearing is actually similar to the Saiyuki costume from Dragon Ball Xenoverse.
I just paired the top with different pants from a different outfit and changed the colors.

I appreciate anything anybody draws for me because they were willing to take time out of their day to do something for me. And that means a lot ^w^
Oh neat!! That's awesome! lol I know it's a silly question but did you ever pick out a theme song for her? lol despite my best efforts, the song I keep coming back to for Tyne is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_kAh91QamA

Hm...if I had to pick out a theme song, I'd have to say possibly Heroic Trunk's Theme
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t15zJ7a0MCY
And I love that theme that you picked, heck I love all the music from DBZ!

Oh god I know right? lol I love that soundtrack! It's like the embodiment of the 90s for me!
And I like that! It's a very upward moving song with just that right garnish of determination and fight! Could you tell me a bit about you character's personality and backstory to go in tandem with this cool theme?

Yeah sure!
Pretty much she lives on Earth training with the other Saiyans and living a fairly normal life. She doesn't know much about her parents cause she was sent to Earth as a child to be safe from an evil Saiyan who wanted the Saiyan race to be consisted of only the strong and was exterminating the weak. Vegeta and Goku found her when her ship landed, and they both decided to train her while letting her live her life. She is very determined and protective of the people she cares about, and is always pushing herself to get stronger. Whenever someone needs help, she doesn't hesitate to jump in.

And yes I do! His pants are just old tattered jeans, his undershirt is an off white, his jacket is silver with black leather sleeves and his hair is a very light blue. If you want I can tell you a little bit about him with some spoilers redacted in case I do a story with him
lol uh oh, now you've done it! You've given me permission to blather XD I apologize in advance if I start to ramble!!
Tyne was orphaned as a child and grew up alone in the various wastelands and city streets. More often than not he was raised only by passing gypsies or the various animals he encountered. It was from various foxes and wolves he learned the starts of his combat abilities, hunting for himself, taking on a pack sort of mentality and desiring pride or street cred among anyone who would offer him any level of attention, and how to move as quickly and ferociously as they did. He was often beaten by passing raiders or gang members until the feral wolves that he normally stayed with would chase them away. It was during his childhood as a street rat stealing from stores to keep himself fed or things to bring up to the animals that raised him that he saw a small scene from one of the World Martial Arts Tournaments, and captured his imagination and fostered his love of fighting. Given purpose by his desire to become a martial artist he began to train himself in various aggressive and sneaky tactics that he learned from the animals around him. Then, one night a band of Drunken thugs began making sport out of his animal friends before Tyne rushed in to stop them. Not expecting him, Tyne was able to take them by surprise and after discovering many of the wolf pack had been killed flew into a rage and discovered his powers of Ki and abnormally high power level for a human.
As he grew, he began to spend more and more time in cities watching the tournaments and stealing what he needed to survive and picking fights with various gangs that were in the area. Occasionally he'd pick up followers or friends but they usually didn't hang around long. In the city, Tyne's personal fixation on maintaining his street cred only grew evolving into one of his flaws; he NEVER turns down a fight even if he's sure to lose. He also cannot sense power levels which leaves him constantly to over or under estimate his foes. His first real friend who was a constant in his life was a young woman who provided him with the outfit he still wears to this day. With her help he managed to earn money to participate in the Tournament in his mid to late teens by the time of the Cell Games Saga. It was at that time that he began to grow exceptionally bitter towards Saiyans as he hated the idea that there were so many skilled fighters on Earth who trained for decades that were put to shame by these strangers who just showed up from outer space born strong; protecting their planet when they felt like it and basically keeping humanity as a sort of pet. This drove Tyne to train harder in the hopes of one day being able to match Saiyans in power or at least fight them on equal ground.
However, there lies the problem with his goal; Tyne has never been trained or studied under a master. While in brute strength he's abnormally strong for a human, able to force his power levels up to match Frieza's at 100% power (which he can't sustain and there's a reason for that but Spoilers) his sloppy and often time self destructive style sees that he can usually be out fought by a better trained fighter. He's also incredibly prideful and in his quest to be able to match the Saiyans, he often tries to copy their moves or "Improve" on them which seldom if EVER goes right. His Ki techniques are largely unstable and have about a 40% chance of exploding before reaching their target. In spite of his pride though, he's not really a bad guy. He's a little rough and plays the tough guy more often than not, but he has an exceptionally playful side that he doesn't often get to show and enjoys the chance to talk to others when he gets it. If you can get past his defensive front he's a very loyal friend and has a deep love of animals; he just has a lot to prove and usually defaults to trying to be steadfast, unyielding, and headstrong man he appears to be.

lol because everything he does is over the top and with all his might. He treats every fight like his last and always goes all out. The only thing is with how sloppy he is the longer he's in a fight the less likely he is to win. At his base he's around Krillin or Tien levels, he can force himself up to a Frieza level over the course of a fight, but it's hard on his body and the MOMENT he reaches that power his body immediately begins dropping rapidly in power and he craps out as he can't sustain that kind of power.
And his techniques are a hoot too! lol Again he has it in his mind he needs to show up the Saiyans to prove humans could defend themselves and don't need saving, so he tries to invent his own versions of their moves to fight them with and he has an interesting scheme for naming his moves. If he'd not be so stubborn and train under someone he might actually be a formidable fighter, but the SECOND he begins to figure something out he'll rush into a fight to show it off without mastering it.

That's hilarious! And I like the fact that he is human.
Like, I know that Saiyans can/are super OP a good majority of the time, but I've always pictured a character of mine to be a Saiyan ever since high school (so since 2007)
I would even try to write stories about a Saiyan character but I'm more of a drawer, not a full fledged writer.

I bet that you could write something! Writing's not all that hard, it just takes practice! And I'd love to know more about your character ^^' I feel like I've been hogging the conversation. Does she have any signature moves? And how did she learn to go Super Saiyan Rose?
Well I don't mind you "hogging" the conversation, I love to hear about other people's characters!
So first, real quick, what color are your character's eyes and skin?
Second, she has a signature move similar to Big Bang Attack, but not as powerful, but a lot faster. She takes a lot of inspiration from Vegeta when it comes to her signature moves. However, she feels that all his moves have a flaw of taking too long to charge (Galick Gun, Big Bang Attack, Final Flash), so she tweaks them to her fighting style.
I haven't really figured out how she went Super Saiyan Rose. I'd want to say that she found out because of how much Future Trunks was struggling against Zamasu/Black and she hated seeing everyone getting hurt because of Zamasu's so proclaimed justice.

lol well I'm glad he's at least interesting ^w^ And he's got sort of pale Caucasian skin and while I draw him with little black dot eyes his eye color is blue.
And that's a major flaw with a lot of attacks XD I love when characters are kinda self aware like that within the show. lol that's one of the reasons I love Dragon Ball Z Abridged so much.
And I could imagine so! That's interesting to know she could learn from watching him and her desire for actual justice allowed her to step beyond and reach that form!

I really like DBZ Abridged too! There were just a couple parts in the Legendary Super Saiyan Movie they just did that made me feel a little awkward lol
But the Princess Trunks was hilarious
Yeah, the only problem is that since it is a form not mastered, she can't sustain that form for long. No where near as long as Goku and Vegeta can sustain their God forms. And her fighting style is usually the faster she hits, the less time the enemy has to recover.

My favorite movie is the History of Trunks
I think that was the very first movie that I absolutely loved.
Also, for you.

I love it! Seriously you're so nice to me I feel like I don't deserve it because I only did the one picture for you!
lol and hey it works either way! I have it that he kinda is surrounded in a pink glow when he uses his version of the Kiao-Ken which he calls the Kettei-Ken (If I'm spelling it correctly. It was Japanese for Determined Fist)

He's tries to be a blend at everything and kinds spreads himself thin. lol I'll try to answer this without writing too big of a text wall XD
His signature moves would have to be the Ka Makka-Makka and the Final Ka Makka-Makka. They're kind of his approximation of the Kamehameha which he worked on perfecting after he first set his sights on Goku. While he's not very good with energy attacks, this one is probably his more reliable because he actually uses both hands to initially form it and help stabilize it unlike most of his other attacks before throwing it with a single hand. He calls it the Ka-makka-makka, specifically because he originally misheard the Kamehameha as Ka hame-hame and wanted to come up with one he thought was "stronger" (which it's not. On his BEST day it might be on par with teen Goku's blast) To form it, he places his finger tips together and shunts a large amount of energy into the space he's created between his hands, similar to Piccolo's Light Grenade he does as a last resort against imperfect cell, shouts the name as he swings the arm holding the energy behind him (because this is Dragonball Z after all XD), then throws it forward sort of like he's throwing a baseball and grabs his wrist to maintain the beam. His end all move is the Final Ka Makka-Makka which, back in form with his untrained style, is very unstable, formed in each hand as large as he can manage before slamming them together, and almost always ALWAYS backfires causing him some level of damage while it's heading for his target. The reason he starts it in each hand is to channel more energy and make it bigger than what he could if he'd do the sensible thing and try to form it with both hands. The Final Ka Makka-Makka cannot be blocked as it's already in the process of exploding by the time it reaches its target But someone strong enough could either avoid it or tank it.
As for his fighting style he all but cheats. While he's very strong in brute power, he's aware that he can be out fought. To counter this he tries to fight very trickily so that he can outfox other fighters. He will rake his knuckles over eyes, use his long uncut hair to blind someone, and do whatever he can to keep them from staying on their feet. From years of fighting stronger fighters he's learned to try to keep them from being able to fight at their full strength; he's focused more on winning than anything. He also uses the Instant Transmission to keep his foes from keeping track of him (and also to disguise the fact he never figured out how to fly). Techniques like the after image also help in that regard. He'll also attempt to appear stronger or more powerful than what he really is by using his speed to unnerve foes. What he does is uses all of his strength to throw himself with every step to appear as if he can run and move worlds beyond what he can really do; trying to keep a break neck pace to his fights. The problem of this is that he's forcing himself to move that fast: he can't really move that fast properly and as such his reflexes aren't able to keep up at that speed. So if someone can keep up with him, they'll soon realize despite appearing fast he won't be able to react in time to deal with them.
As for his style it's usually about heavy hits and constantly trying to disorient or disable the person he's fighting. For punches he'll usually go for pressure points and channels energy into his hands which he releases with every blow in a small explosion to supplement his strength in a move he calls the "Flechette Punch". For the most part he's kind of unintentionally similar in strikes to the Wolf Fang style. When he's up against someone who can tank his blows he goes into his plan B mode which uses his approximation of the Kiao-Ken (the Kettei-Ken) to boost his strength to it's maximum and he'll target specific limbs to try to hobble his foes so they can't use their full strength. He's also rather dangerous in the sense that he'll take hits if he thinks he can get a shot off that will hurt his enemy more, trying to tank them in a pain resistance trance he puts himself in known as Berserker Style. While in this style and in his more mad-dog style of fighting he'll injure himself or hit hard enough to disable one of his own limbs all in the hopes of doing more damage to his opponent. As you can see that has it's obvious downfalls.

Oh wow, a lot of thought has been put into this! XD
That's a good thing though! I really like it!
I can almost him trying to learn how to fly and just kind of struggle with it like Videl did at first.
I will say, he seems more calculating in battle than what my character would! She is kind of like Vegeta and Goku in the sense of don't think too much, just go in there powered up and swinging.

I'm really glad you like it! lol and that was a very polite way to say I grossly mismanage my time XD
lol and yeah! Except for he doesn't get it at all! He doesn't get the whole Energy control aspect of it so he normally (when trying) usually tries jumping, gets frustrated, and says heck with that! Though he does try to fake it in a fight when people CAN fly. He uses instant transmission to kind of throw himself upwards. Anyone with a sharp eye will notice he starts falling before his next transmission.
XD and he kind of has to be more calculative! He's no where near as strong as they are!
