This is the intro from an RPG game called Lunar for the PSX... this was done by request of

It appears I prefer doing speedy stuff more than slowish like this anyway but I guess I can do something slow every now and then :/

Oooh, the Lunar series. I haven't played any of the games, but I've heard they're pretty good.
Oh, and they started out on the Sega CD/Mega CD and were given enhanced remakes on the Sony PlayStation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar
This is a nice change compared to the faster stuff, it sounds more like the actual game music given the set of soundfonts you're using.

Well yeah I guess it does, I didn't want to put all the things as synths... only one of the leads is actually a synth but most of the stuff is done with classical-ish things. Specified by the requester... I prefer super fast snare lines and stuff though :/
Didn't know Lunar was on Sega only heard about it recently and managed to get it for PSX but I haven't been able to get very far yet

I don't think I have a definitive style yet... mostly whatever I remix will have the feel it had originally except I try to improve it if I can, I'm not experienced at music and I can barely make original songs, at least not ones I'm happy enough with to share with anyone :/ I'm still trying to figure out how a lot of stuff works and I think I have to first learn that properly and THEN experiment more with styles
