I like how he is sitting under the tree reading a book with glasses. XD

I like to give books or other little things in my monsters/beast hands, to make them cute, or to suggest they are more them how they look like. :D

His O face is hilarious.

He reminds me a lot of the Beast from Disney's animated classic "Beauty and the Beast." I can see him having a British accent, though, and perhaps wearing a fancy top hat. A visually appealing design overall.

That's what I was thinking.
If Beast was a werewolf.

When I design any character, I usually imagine how they talk. It helps a lot to come up with further things. Btw, in his personality can be found some vanity, so a British accent sounds like a good idea ^^ And now I can imagine him with a cup of tea in his hand, and sipping it while he's reading a way more thicker book XD

"The doors slammed shut behind me with a dull echo. Now, the only illumination in the room was the waterfall of silver pouring through the two-story window to my right. A table, far too long, stretched out before me, and sitting in a gold-framed chair that could have doubled as a throne was a creature of dark grey fur. A pair of square-rimmed glasses sat on the bridge of his canine snout, and as the door's echo faded, he looked up from a tome that was thick as an encyclopedia and snapped the thick volume shut. A toothy grin of sharp canines spread across his muzzle before he spoke with a low, rumbling growl, 'Ah, you've finally arrived.' He stood, unnaturally tall.

Finding my voice was more difficult than I imagined. 'Lord...Lord Algernon?'

He placed the hefty book and spectacles on the table next to a top hat that I hadn't noticed before. He circled around the table and approached me, each hulking footstep creating a dull thud on the soft carpet. His size became even more apparent as he drew close; his hunched form nevertheless towered over my own by a good two feet. With the same grin of dagger-like teeth, he extended a large, clawed paw. 'Algernon H. Wilson Barkworth.' As my own trembling hand sank into the sea of fur that was his, he continued, 'I understand your jitters, my good man.' His other paw closed over my hand, but my fear subsided when I met his large canine eyes and saw a soft, comforting gaze. 'It's only natural upon first meeting one of my kind. However, I need you to move past your trepidation.' His eyes narrowed and intensified. 'Fear will do you no good in the days to come.' He released my hand and stepped back, clasping his paws behind his back. 'I am in need of your aid, and quickly. We have much to discuss.'"

(Just a little vignette that popped into my head.)
