Well, some would argue it would make for a surprisingly balanced set of alternative versions of the characters.
(In some cases, like TsekTsau, there will be arguments on the alternate version being too close to an already-established character, but in truth, you can show the differences simply enough.)
Wouldn't that be a kick in fighter games to be able to swap genders?
