Let me take you back, back in time. A time called seventh grade.

I was so head over heals for Neopets. I didn't quite understand online pet games. I was still part of an era where everybody had their own garbage angelfire/tripod/geocities website and the way WE adopted pets was going to peoples sites and filling out forms to adopt ms paint pixel animals of varying quality.

But Neopets. Neopets. Was something different. I played it for years and years and years and wrote fanfiction and drew bad fanart and MY D R E A M was to get a spotted paintbrush for my zafara. I was on dial up at the time and the games on the site ran like SHIT for me so neopoints were hard to come by.

Then my account got hacked and my tiny middleschooler dreams were CRUSHED.

Some years later, I rejoined and found I was just as much neotrash as I always was. The critter up top is my long since purged Zafara, Kazzaar. I should bring him back as a different creature. Maybe one of my Zahaho imps.
