So... How about beginning the year of 2017 with some 2014 arts?
That's right, the following series are really from 2014. This picture is even very similar to an old sketch piece from earlier that same year (here).
Why post them only in 2017 though? Back then VDOPlus and I wanted to post these together with a small story, he sadly was very busy at the time and we eventually forgot about this... Until now.
Enjoy some these old digital arts along with the stories provided by my awesome friend

SUNNY MEETS KAMI 2/4 >>>

With a happy sigh, Kami smiled down upon her little world. It had been a while since she first awakened, lost and alone in the darkness of space, but she still remembered the confusion and loneliness that had filled her when she was 'born.' She'd come to realize that she was created by the cries and sorrow of a dead planet, desperate to support life. It had wished so strongly that it brought Kami into existence as a young Goddess of Life. She was very grateful to the world, and strove as best she could to make its dreams come true.
Now, after so much practice and training and hard work and perseverance, she truly felt like she had succeeded. The world, once empty and barren, was now covered in lush forests and green fields and happy mortals. She could feel the beings of the world enjoying its prosperity, and it made her deeply and truly happy.
Ah, THERE you are! Just a sec, please~
Kami gasped. That voice... It had been so loud, so powerful. She had never heard anything like it! It had been so strong, she felt like it should have thrown her deep into space, but instead it just lingered in her mind like an echo.
"Who is there? Who are you?"
Like I said, just a sec. I need a moment to squeeze in, it's kinda cramped!
"To 'squeeze in?' I do not understand, where are you trying to-"
Her breath caught in her throat and her voice went silent as Kami suddenly felt... She didn't even know how to describe it! Just power, so much power... Everywhere behind her body, she felt an ocean, a cosmos, an infinity of might and strength that dwarfed her own divine abilities far more than she dwarfed the mortals of her world! Kami's hands instantly curled protectively around the planet, her energy flowing out to defend it as best she could against this terrifying being.
THERE we go. Anyway, HI! I'm Sunny. Nice to meet you!
