Well, I guess it would depend on how they were transformed into it in the first place. It's a pretty intense change so I think it would be a permanent one unless they prepared a way to revert before they changed. I'm sure they'd know a way to make sure, if they needed to, they could change back. Not sure why they'd need to though.
