I got all those commissions, but never got myself a reference sheet. Mostly because I like getting more for my money; ref sheets are expensive as hell.
When I do finally get one, I'll need to tell the artist what I want. However, I kinda suck at explaining exactly what I want, so I thought making this basic sheet would help with showing instead of telling.
It looks pretty terrible compared to some of my better work; I would've given up, but I need this for later so I finished it anyway.
I've never drawn an anthro without clothes and I don't know how to very well, but I needed to show what Arin's fur pattern was like. I also can't seem to keep Arin's face the same in any of my drawings of him...
The hex colors are very hard to get out of colored pencils, so I used a previous commission to get them out of MS Paint. There's no hex, so I had to convert it from RGB.
I made this before coloring the trench coat ref sheet, so I put all the hex codes there, but the scanner was just small enough that it cut the bottom off.
There's not a back pose. Probably should've drawn one, but it's pretty much just all black fur there. If I did try to draw it, though, I probably would've rage-quit because this thing took three hours to make.
Anyway, it's better to have something terrible than nothing at all. Hopefully this will prove useful in the future.
