As the morning went on I paced the F-7.
Pictured here near the end of the canyon, I'd quickly hiked a steep trail while wearing my black dress shoes. The railroad grade came right to the edge of the rail so there was no place to really set up a camera. So, without much choice before me I extended one tripod leg ALL the way out and left two fully retracted, grabbed my remote shutter control and hoped the camera was somewhat level and pointed.
Ahh railfanning!
