Someone really hurt me, once upon a time. They really messed with my head. They got into my heart and shook it up enough to crack. By the time things were over I was a whisper of a creature. Saddened, angry, terrified. Deeper down still and I was longing, hoping, breaking.

I once heard that if you find something beautiful then you should keep it to yourself, otherwise people will make it ugly. That's..terrible..because people can be so terrible...but they can also be so very beautiful. How could we fall in love if we weren't so wonderful..?
