great job. love the tribalistic design you made for him. the pauldron on the left shoulder is full of awesome as well. I halfway expected him to have some sort of tribalistic polynisian tattoo on his arm or somewhere on his body though... maybe that's just me though...

No no, I can understand why you would say that. I may put one on later, it just didn't occur to me to make him one. ^^ I like suggestions. =3

honestly if you are pondering about making him have a tattoo, then I'd suggest doing a few concept sketches of designs after research on what certain patterns mean. oceanic tribes in our planet's history usually put the tattoos on either the arm as a sleeve tattoo or the face if they were chieftains. some of the chiefs actually had custom designs for their tattoos and used them as their signatures to show who they were.

Perhaps if a shark was really bad ass, he'd get a facial tattoo to say "I'm bad ass enough to take this pain and dish it back out 100 fold upon my enemies!"? in my book, that'd actually be kind of intimidating, considering that sharks have most of their sensors up on the front of their faces....
