You find yourself in a crypt, the results of a battle forgotten. Bodies strewn about, most yet to be buried. Before you can entirely gather your bearings, there in the dense fog you see movement. A shadow. You step closer with your lantern, and there amongst the remnants you come face to face with an undead dragon, a dracolich. Half of flesh and half of bone, the creature recants from the light and, peering toward you, puts on the most ghastly of smiles. "Hello there. I have trinkets for sale," under and around the lich are such trinkets, as well as a pile of coin it had been amassing, "If you only have the coin to part with." The treasure would have been more an adventurers' call to action if not for the far much enrapturing glow of a jeweled amulet in the creature's grip. You find your eyes tracing the amulet, consumed by it, for it soon becomes your entire world. A treasure, indeed. Tears blur your vision as you reach for your purse without willing, and you buy yourself blind without mercy.
