Dust was waiting at the wall at the local swing dance club. He always brought out his favourite dancing outfit, a collar popped red shirt, and long black pants with some dancing shoes. He didn't get to dance very often, not many people would dance with the little Drake, his tail would get too enthusiastic and his inability to lead made his dancing partners quite few.
It didn't stop him from continuing to attempt to do so.
It was near the end of the night, nobody was left but him, he sat at a small table, listening to his favourite Electric Swing. He was just about to get up to leave, when the door opened.
Smiley bent over and walked through, a big smile on his face. Dust sees him every day at the supermarket, and was always dying to say something but was far too shy to do so.
"Am I too late to dance?" Smiley asked Dust as he saw the club was empty.
Dust stood up, "I'm afraid I'm the only one left. And I'm afraid I may not be the best dancing partner." Giving his long tail a flick, his cheeks turning red, and looking a little disappointed.
"That shouldn't be a problem, dearie." Smiley grabbed Dust by the hips, and another went to his hand, and the song played back from the start, as it always did when the song reached its end.
Smiley lead him through the fast steps of the song, and swung Dust back and forth, having all the room in the club to continue the dance. Dust's tail whipped to and fro, but Smiley's long legs stepped over and around and the two never intersected.
Dust's cheeks couldn't stop blushing. He was having the time of his life, a lone dance with someone he basically just met. His face was straight, but his cheeks gave away all the enjoyment he was having.
Smiley eventually used his height, and used his strength to lift the little Drake up into the air, and swung him upside down, into his hips. Dust's legs followed the moves he memorized but could never have put into practice before.
"Having fun dearie? Don't worry, I won't drop ya!" Smiley stated, as Dust was upside down in Smiley's large hands. Dust couldn't speak, but his ever blushing cheeks continued to give away his enjoyment.
Dust and Smiley continued to dance the night away.
I still can't thank you enough for this, Smiley.
