I don't think it's serious at all.
I honestly don't see why these kids are so uptight about who is in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I can't even talk to a Lucariofan without another Mewtwofan spouting "Double sider!" or "Traitor!". It doesn't get to me, but god damn this shit is annoying.
