Pochanos' full bio:
Pochanos (pronounced po-CON-os) is a Prehensile-tailed porcupine. Pochanos lives in a near parallel world to ours, but anthropomorphic rodents take the place of humans. He's Barkley's best friend, a massage therapist and a personal trainer. He was born in the city of Ramo in the country of Áspero, his world's equivalent of Sao Paulo Brazil and he moved to the city of Gophington, Mapliea (roughly the location of Toronto, Canada in our world) with his parents when he was 14. He's had his own massage practice in Gophington since he was 27. He speaks fluent Porcuguese and Castorese.
Pochanos and Barkley met at a rave in Gophington when Pochanos was 25. They became fast friends as they both have interests in dance, music, physical fitness and Bodybuilding.

- Full Birth Name: Pochanos Bernardo Afiado
- Nicknames: Pokey, Mr. Poke-a-Nose.
- Sexual Orientation: Mostly straight, but can be bicurious.
Appearance:
- Quills: white and light creamy orange.
- Nose to chin: almost hairless, light pink flesh color.
- Markings: none
- Eye color: Green

Attire:
- Casual/Lounging: Completely naked, or special "porcupine grade" boxer briefs that resist puncture from quills.
- Work: Cargo shorts in warm weather. Cargo pants with long pierce resistant underwear in cold weather. He can't wear a shirt unless he gets a pierce resistant undershirt, or gets his entire back quills removed, which is a long and painstaking process and they eventually grow back within a month or so. He doesn't mind being topless anyway, as he likes to show off his muscular body and loves the natural spiked "hairstyle" look that his quills give him that so many other species try to replicate with hair products.
- Professional: A thick, puncture resistant dress shirt, black pants, tie. He prefers to just wear the pants and tie as the shirt material doesn't breathe very well. Without the shirt, he ends up looking like an anthropomorphic porcupine "Chippendale" dancer but its culturally acceptable in warm weather conditions. The tie is the most critical part, as it represents formality.

Body description:
A little on the tall side for a Prehensile-tailed porcupine. Extremely athletic, well developed muscles throughout his entire body from over a decade of bodybuilding, cross-training, and life-long rock and tree climbing. Sharp quills cover his entire head, back, and most of his tail. Quills are more sparse on his arms and legs. His torso is nearly quill-less. His quills can be very dangerous if people aren't careful or he's in a bad mood. He was born with an odd mutation that makes his body produce white fur and orange quills. He has a 4 foot long muscular and flexible prehensile tail that he can use as a fifth limb to grab objects, pull himself up, and hang off things (trees, ledges of buildings, railings) if he so desires.
