Tuatara in traditional Maori-style ornamentation and dress. Tuataras are found only on the north island of New Zealand, but I find the south island so striking an environment that I chose to place him there.

I like the detail on the head and face, especially the prominent parietal eye. The proportions of his legs (being of approximately the same length as his arms) suggests that he still walks as a quadruped?
