After a whole day passed at visiting a new city, Vanessa and her friends were going to take the train to go back at home. (In the Bern’s world, the train is actually the main way to travel short distances, if this doesn’t require traversing any sea.)
However, due a sudden snowing along the road, the railway was under maintenance. This means that they would have reach home much later than expected.
A similar issue however wasn’t really a problem to them. After all, Vanessa was way bigger than her friends, so she just could gobble them up and fly towards home.
One of her friends wanted to stay on her back during the travel, however he didn’t expect how cold can be while flying up in the sky. So, during the travel he asked to get inside as well, which Vanessa happily did.
