Nezumiwerks Marauder III or simply the Marauder is the result of time slipping about the universe and coming across several clans of genetically tailored warriors whom clash with each other for territory, resources, and bitches to fuck!
The rat was able to avoid being detected, much less captured and interrogated, and watched the various clans throw down on each other with what appeared to be large armored droids; some resembling humanoids, others large animals.
One in particular caught the rat's eye with it's tall stance and impressive stride that resembled something akin to an American Road Runner. It was unbelievably fast for a chicken legged walking machine, and was even able to jump short distances with rocket assistance, but what astonished Yuki the most was this particular "Mech" as able to use it's agility to out maneuver it's opponents easily, and destroy them with flanking blows the more heavily armored mechs should have been able to deal with.
Daishi, Summoner, Rifleman, Hellbringer... All impressive names for impressive machines with armor far greater than this "Marauder" possessed and yet time and time again, skilled pilots of these particular mechs would cut them down either humiliatingly quickly (ROFL Stomped) or with wise patience and skillful use of terrain features, whittle down Daishi (Great Death) with weapons fire seemingly over matched by the larger albeit slower top tier dreadnought.
Inspired by these actions, Yuki set about in her husband's workshop to replicate what she recorded on video, using hardware the white rat had on hand, and in about a week's time had pieced together a prototype bird of prey nearly matching a Clan Marauder spec for spec, albeit with mild appearance differences that could not be avoided since Yuki lacked any genuine Clan hardware of her own.
It does not bother the rat that her own work may never genuinely equal a Clan or Inner Sphere Marauder in performance, that matters little to her... The fact that she had essentially kit bashed parts and equipment readily on hand into a working replica was all that mattered, and in time who knows... Yuki may eventually build her own Marauder to be as good if not better than those Clan panzers.

This was brought about after finding our old copy of MechWarrior2. We currently do not have an old Macintosh to run it, but no matter, word and Google has it that by using DosBox emulator, a working full copy of the PC version can be downloaded and played on this old machine, and hopefully on any newer one I hope to pick up for myself soon.
You guys know I favor tanks more so than mechs simply because I lacked any experience with them. I've for a time been more familiar with World Of Tanks, except for recently, so it's a given that I'm more fond of those rolling boxes of LOLs, but that said, hopefully once I learn how to set up and use DosBox and install MW2 on the drive partition I set up to use D-box, I might be making more mechs for the lols as much as I make mein panzers. XD
And yes, for those curious, it was relatively easy for me to kit bash my Comanche helicopter into a Marauder, as the only new parts needed for the conversion were some crude legs and the weapons pods. XDD

No need to apologize for anything Ardrigh, I let out a good nerdy laugh when hubby popped into the den holding the jewel case with the iconic MadCat / Timberwolf on the cover. :D :D :D
We used to have such geeky fun walking, running, and rocket jumping all over the place and try to out do the amazingly advanced (for it's day) artificial intel mechs by running around buildings and shooting them form the sides. XDDD
Timberwolves and Marauders and Clan Woof = Luv!

Very true. XD In fact I need to weigh my options on how best to re-glaze the cockpit with smaller window panels. I think the entire "Pilot's" windows can be deleted, and have the driver occupy roughly the same position the Navigator/Gunner would on the flying Comanche.
Of course the legs needs major work, but this is a good starting point, right?

Well, I'd start by posing that Nezumi model you have and make the cockpit around her. That'll get the size you need. I also suggest looking at what MechWarrior Online did for their Mech remakes. They did a heck of a job getting cockpit scales and looks right for the different factions and chassis.
Agreed.
It's stretching canon a bit by placing AC-10 in either hand pods as well as placing that chin mount AC-2, but otherwise with a full set of double heat sinks, and either a 250 or 200 sized core that would just about cover energy usage combined with a standard FerroFiber armor layout, it's just possible a Marauder 2c might work with this loadup.
But this is not really canon, and this is not a standard Marauder 2c so as far as "Can it run"... yes, yes it can. XD
