.....is one of the worst things you can do.
I don't want you to play what i play, or how i play it. To teach you that, is only to do you a disservice. You see, if i do that, you will need me to help you in the future when there is a piece you cannot understand.
Instead, i will teach you the why, the how. Understand why the note is there, and why its value is so specific, but most importantly: How it speaks to YOU .
You see, Remi, by doing this you will not need me. You wont have to rely on me to figure out the how or why, you simply will look back to the things i passed on to you and you will have the skill set to come to your own answer.
The only answer.
But, should you fail to find the answer within what i have taught you, worry not. Come to me, and i will set you back on the path to finding the right note.
