This art was actually completed on October 19th, 2016. Basically it's like this picture was taken 100 years ago that day. It's supposed to be Styx getting ready to join the battles of WWI with his favorite rifle. Gewehr M95. Made by

Some are still around. I know the Gewehr m95 is still in the hands of collectors and museums. WW1 was only a hundred years ago so many WW1 weapons can still be found. Even the Kolibri is still around, although low numbers. Things is, I think all weapons that are in BF1 are still around. It explains how they replicated them so well.
indeed, yet again they can be produced again at a cost, (not just financially), such as making a functioning reproduction would be also costly and time consuming with research and so on
