Upon his journey throughout equestria feng is given scantum at one changelings hives after he had saved a changeling and family from group of slave traders who secretely were using changelings for there own purposes, the queen assigns one of her changeling warriors to show feng around the hive. During his stay he shown an entrance and is warned by the fenale warrior that he must not venture past this area. Feng is interested and wander why with her telling him that it leads to the old underground ruins where a vast city lies, at one point in changeling nistory they used to live in cities and town underground in simliar fashion to ponies on surface but long since abandoned. When feng had asked why they abandoned it with her stating that monsters such as quarry eels, manticores, and much worse began to attack there cities before they wee forced to abandoned. Only thing oreventing them from entering the hive was specailized crystsls and magical enchantments that protect the entry ways , though on occasion some brave changelinf tries to explore the city and never heard from again. (Some changes to story at later date perhaps)

This scene was actaully inspired by a fanfiction i read known as Intergration on fimciftion by raugas as i loved his take on the changelings
