Hey everyone,

just another update to show that I'm still working on stuff!

I've moved away from sprite animations for a lil' bit so the process didn't become a chore, and decided instead to tackle what I thought was going to be the most boring aspect; backgrounds!

It's turned out to be a lot less grueling than I'd thought it to be, even though I'm still relatively new to it, and while assets for the demo level have been made I wanted to show you all a more complete room (even though it's not really complete past the basics!

This will be the 'Safe room' area, which will be dotted throughout the levels as a sort of checkpoint / healing station / save point / re-stock area type thing, and the player character will be able to interact with various objects like regaining health by washing in the sink (at first; showering will be a thing later on!) saving the game in the bed (still back and forth on quick saving) and other such features I'll add as and when they become pertinent. But for now, here's some progress for you, hope you enjoy!
