Day 24: Trainer & Generation

I seriously pondered about drawing all the starters I chose during those 17 years of Pokémon of mine, but then I realized. Gen III was the start of my love for the franchise, even having played previous generations, I was too young and didn't absorb the story and plot elements. When I got my Pokémon Sapphire I had matured a bit and my english was better so it felt way different, way more special.

Alola got a very special place in my heart since I'm loving gen VII so far, for reals, but Hoenn is my starting point. ´w` I didn't watch the anime too much until Advanced Generation came along and then there was that girl which chose the same as me, Torchic. It was the player character I played with! The young me felt thrilled with this. I'm sorry, I thought Brendan looked weird back then ;v;"

May introduced me to the world of Contests as well and it's a mechanic I loved in the anime, loved in RSE and still love in ORAS. Up to this day she's still my favorite trainer, and Torchic was my first very special starter.
I couldn't afford to draw those two themes separated. ♥
