Short story bellow!
This amazing piece is based on my Pokémon team in Pokémon Sun (or will be when PokéBank becomes available for it) featuring my trainer character I championed long ago.
Unlike most Pokémon trainers I choose my Pokémon for my team based on the Pokémon I love the most; so this does mean there is no real strategy between them and it does mean most of my team is weak to Fire, Flying, Bug, Dark, Fairy and any other type most people use (which tends to be Fire majority of the time)

Zoroark, Mega-Gallade, Aegislash, Decidueye, Sceptile and Ribombee belong to the Pokémon Company.

Taking the last lift up the glass tower, facing south looking over the South of Emporon, Kukui sees the trees and fields surrounding large cities and settlements dotting the landscape up against the coastline, further afield an island can be seen with tall white cliffs and white needles protruding from the sea off of a peninsular, crowned with a lone lighthouse at the end. Squinting a little the northern coastline of Kalos can be seen with Emporon’s distant islands of ‘Sea Spirit’s Den’ encroaching. The lift eventually slows as it reaches the top of the tallest building in all of the surrounding regions.
Passing through a layer of thick white cloud the lift stops perfectly so the floor is in line with the top of the cloud layer.
Turning around Kuki watches the large doors open and is greeted by a blinding light, amplified through the glass shard roof. The champion’s room at the top of the spire was pristine, clear, and plain. The floor was a pure marble white. The walls were that of thick glass that dresses the Pokémon League tower and the roof continues on forever to the pinnacle of the building. At the other end of the room stands a white cloaked figure looking out through the glass and through the clouds onto the city of Empire below.
“The first in the world for many great achievements… Many great feats… Many examples for the world to follow…” he looks up at the in front of him, “We created the first Pokémon league; 8 Captains we now call Gym Leaders with 4 Majors who control counties that you would then face once more simultaneously here at the Pokémon league. You’ve now defeated them, my ‘Elite Four’ as the rest of the world now names them, leaving only one more foe in your way of completing the ‘Emporon League’…” He turns around to face the Alolan challenger. His blue spiked hair swished in the movement and his coat fans out.
“Welcome, Kukui” he smiles. “The first people from the outside world to meet the Alolan people were those of Emporon. They greeted and welcomed them, trading and learning from one another; so much so that Alola sees its self-more like Emporon then it does Unova. Alola even adopted our ‘Captains and Majors’ style under alternate names but you are still to create a ‘Pokémon League’. Maybe your travels here will inspire you to put those wheels into motion?”
The room is quickly filled with a purple mist emanating from the figure slowly turning into a small stadium battle arena with monitors and a crowd, behind each of the two participants featured a flag of their representing regions; the Red, blue and white decorated flag of Emporon on one end, and then present again in the corner of Kukui’s Alolan flag, representing the historical ties between the two regions.
“My name is Sir Jakeshi Britannia La’Verre, Champion of Emporon and conqueror of all Pokémon League’s I have visited and opposed. My title is an Empire of its own and now it’s time for you to battle it’s King!”
