I started playing around with the sketch for this in Photoshop and wound up deciding to line and color it. It's kind of sort of a remake picture I did a few months ago, which you can find further back in my gallery. I still tried to add the little tidbits to make him look like he's half Icewing, including some extra neck spikes. I took more inspiration from the cover of the book this time, including adding the ridges along his snout, but ultimately decided to make the design my own. I know the book says he has twisted horns (which makes no sense to me because he's a hybrid of two species with straight horns) but I always figured those developed during his 2000 year slumber, and this picture is supposed to be him in his youth.
