The only one? I knew it wasn't Nobuo Uematsu that wrote the music for that game. If he did, I would've had a better time playing it.

Yeah, Hitoshi Sakimoto was the main composer of the game. Nobuo only did the one song, "Kiss Me Goodbye", since he was leaving Square Enix, they thought that would be a beautiful way to go out. :)

He left? Well, I hope that the person that's doing ffxiii does at least half as well as Uematsu.

It doesn't really get you involved, but it's good at occupying space, and the music always matches well with the theme of where you are and what you're doing.

That was the problem with ffxii. The music wasn't engaging, it didn't draw you in.

Yeah, but that was cheating. :P The opening song has been passed on through MANY generations of Final Fantasy games. XD However, I have to disagree with you. =/ Kiss Me Goodbye was the -only- song that was done by Nobuo Uematsu in the game. The reason he was the one that did the song, had to do with his announcement of him leaving Square Enix...It's a shame, really. :( No more Final Fantasy games with him...I almost cried when I heard the news. It really is a shame...But!, he's making his own studio productions, so I suppose it isn't ALL bad. :)

Actually...Now that I think about it, the opening theme wasn't done by Nobuo. =/ It was Hayato Matsuo who created that and the ending theme...

I love this song *wipes her eyes* wonderfully done, and it is ashame Uematsu didn't do more music for FF 12. Just isn't the same without him. You did a wonderful job on this.

And yes, the music for ff12 wasn't bad, the artist did do a good job, and it did, I guess I'm just used to Uematsu composing FF for the longest time hehe

this is the song from the credits right? I liked the way they ended the game, they showed what happened to the charecters after their adventure with normal lives. kinda sad though.
