OBSERVING OFFICER’S STATEMENTS:
Confrontation occurred while both parties were off-duty. Cpl. Dyre Payne reports that the fight broke out at 2130 hours. Reports that Pvt. Brooke appeared agitated and came at him with a broken bottle. The two fought for some time before they were broken up by Spc. Fredrick Pirelli. Pvt. Brooke has sustained a hairline fracture in the collar bone, but, Doctor reports he will heel perfectly fine. Abiding by the Fifty-Eighth Article, both personnel have been assigned to duties as seen fit by Court Marshall. Pvt. Brooke is awaiting sentence via Court Marshall. Pvt. Payne has had charges waived in favor of self-defense.
Please allow time for Court Marshall to determine charges pending against Pvt. Brooke.
