Black Knight Report
Begin Log, Identifier: Officer Gomu
When a Knight dies, his body will forever belong to the rest of the organization and be donated to the research department for study.
Generally this was assumed that R&D would look into what the Knight died of and look into ways we could prevent this happening to other officers.
A whistle blower has brought to light that deceased Knights are still 'on duty' so to speak.
Their bodies, once thoroughly examined are then denied the cremation that regulation requires to prevent any undead.
I've spotted a few of these 'Black Knight' myself while on overnight duty.
Despite these former officers looking like they're weighed down by the equipment attached to them, they are frighteningly agile.
I've seen one jump to the roof of a building from the street in a single leap, another climbing a high wall with the hook attached to it's arm.
They are almost always found wielding a hook in their left hand but their right hand weapon varies from creature to creature.
It seems these Black Knights are often found in areas where most officers dare not venture alone (I.E. The Bloodstained Blvd)
It seems like if someone is controlling them, they're sending them into high risk areas.
Maybe a blessing in disguise.
They'll often try to remain out of sight but if you know what to look for, they're easily spotted.
For example, their eyes and mouth piece let off a faint glow and often in a very recognizable pattern.
Another audible cue is what sounds like a robotic voice repeating numbers, perhaps these are orders they're relaying to other Black Knights?
To combat these former officers effectively, one should aim for the hoses attached haphazardly around it's body.
As hoses are disconnected, it will slow down until all are removed from it.
At which point, the Black Knight will cease to function and collapse.
This combat information was found in a note on my desk, I don't know who could've left it...
Surely it wasn't another officer, they would've told me directly.
...The handwriting is very similar to Dr. Caroline' s writing...
