Rodent is always the curious, playful type and when he saw a dragon lying on the grass asleep, he decides to poke it with a stick. Yeah, Rodent's not always the smartest when it comes to encountering others. Looking up, the dragon decides to curl his tongue out around the poking stick, along with Rodent's arm.
What might happen next is left up to the imagination of the viewer. :p

Hmm, I believe on my end, as I'm feeling gentle lately, would be some warm lickings and tongueplay, the dragon bothing having fun as well as tasting the rat, and even befriending him, offering a proposition not to eat him if the rat will take up residence in his maw. ;3
