Music serves a similar purpose to me. It's quite amazing what it can do. I like to think that music resides where the soul and the mind meet and enables them to communicate as neither are fully capable of it with their own language. Trite, maybe, but there is something wonderful there, whatever it is. Also I'm a big fan of well rendered lionesses. This whole series has been amazing!
*blush* Thank you so much! Jua's my main character for my comic I'm working on a bit (Personal tragedy has slowed that down some, but it'll move forward) So there's /tons/ of her. Always. I think music and visual arts both communicate on a different level than language. That's the great thing about them both.
You're quite welcome. I'm glad someone else sees it that way. It sounds silly to the average person, but there is so much proof to it. They're mood altering substances, much more benign and profound than their pharmaceutical and illicit counterparts. I'll be looking forward to the comic! I'm dealing with a little personal tumult too. My mother is just out of the hospital. I hope you find your way through yours.
