Another pic from my archive folders, 2 of the supporting characters from the same story Nova is from. Master wizard Gareth Olmen and his lovely future wife Luna LeLoup the werewolf.
The pose for this pic and some of the designs for Gareths coat came from a pic of the main characters from the Amazing Nurse Nanako anime.
Note Gareth is carrying a sword, this is a reference to one of the frustrating things about magic users in many RPG's, they usually suck as weapon users. no such thing for Gareth though, he is an exelent swordsman too.

Well its usually in the final fantasy games that the magic users are mostly useless at anything exept magic.
Like aeris in FF7, Garnet and Vivi in FF9 and Yuna and Lulu in FF 10.
they all exell at magic but as soon as they run out of MP and have to resort to their hand to hand weapons they can hardly do any damage.

 I just plyed FFX andi worked out the utility of the draining technique (don't know its English name as itlain translators twisted and screwed all the sense out of their version), so my Lulu and others never run out of MPs; luckily in FFX2 it's inbuilt in Black Mage's skill's selection:) Averally, I prefer the fun and multi-classing of FFX2 to FFX's skill's three and lame phatos.
