The day grew darker as she stood upon that hill overlooking the children running into their homes to shield themselves from the pouring rain. She wrapped her arms around her for warmth, her tears melding with the rain that fell upon her pale cheek. She stood there, the ball her best friend had gave her beside her. The only glimmer in the scene was the small promise ring that hung from a black thread around her neck. The same promise ring her best friend had gave her before he had moved far away. He promised he'd return, he promised they would play again together someday...So she stood there waiting.

I came up with a story for this picture...
I was really upset that day and took out my blue color pencil and began to doodle.
I really like how it came out though and i'm sorry my scanner ish so evil it doesn't show you too much of the details
