Kirkrapine wastes his valuable time to show his penmanship
I was recently contacted by the inimicable
duphasdan to show off a bit of my handwriting. While I would normally trust this lug with nothing more than a few scraps of meat and old bean containers, I have been in a generous mood. Thus I have decided to bestow upon you a rare and precious gift. While there are very few still alive who have seen my writing, you can now witness what even the most ancient scholars would kill to see for even a moment. And by "kill" I mean "kill themselves." Or perhaps spontaneously and irrevocably transform into small twittering sparrows. The Black Book of Om'Siliath does not discriminate.

Well, I just looked them up on a table. D:
I didn't know they had rune fonts, but I've seen an Englisc insular miniscule one, so anything is possible I guess.
That poem you did in the style of Chaucher is also pretty funny! I'm sure you're familiar with the parliament of foules. I've got a book with a sample from that written in 15th century cursive.
I chose the usename in honour of Charles V. :)

Haha, yes I'm familiar. I'm a pretty big fan of Chaucer to the point that I read all of his works, even his lame stuff like the treaty on the astrolabe. Parliament of Foules is obviously one of my favourites :b
And Charles the 5th has some of my favourite portraits, seriously. His chin deserves far, far more attention than it's gotten.
