So it suddenly dawned on me that I really like Ursula as a pred. She's in that sweet spot for characters where they don't canonically eat people, but you if they were suddenly revealed to, no one would be surprised.
Sure, octopi aren't known for swallowing their prey whole, but they ARE known for being stretchy. I figure an octopus-based fantasy creature doing it isn't particularly far-fetched.
It also occurred to me that Ursula is REALLY fun to draw.
