Yeah, it's pretty pricey. I have the cheapest version (Essentials), and it was $375. Then it's Advanced at $975, then Premier at $1975. There's a bit of learning curve to it, too, but that's to be expected with a new art program.
It could be worse, though, it could be OpenToonz. *Shudders* I never even learned how to SAVE A FILE in that program. It's the complete opposite of user-friendly.

Hmm... try Clip Studio Paint EX when it goes on sale again. Normally, it's $219, but I bought it when it was only $87. They even have tutorials on how to use everything.
It's a bit complicated at first, but it becomes second nature pretty quick and turns out being EASIER than any other way I can think of.
PLUS, you can do more artsy stuff in Clip Studio as opposed to Toon Boom Harmony (you only get one drawing layer in TBH Essentials).
